Chloé Love Story Eau De Parfum Review

Chloe Love Story Perfume
I've been really lazy with perfumes lately (I know you're all shocked to hear that I could possibly be lazy!). I usually have a rather large collection on my dressing table as I like to alternate my scents. However, I seemed to have let my collection dwindle and I've been sticking to my Jimmy Choo regularly. Debenhams have come to my rescue though and very kindly gifted me the Chloé Love Story Eau De Parfum*.

Firstly, the packaging. I feel like I really don't need to elaborate any more on that sentence but as it's a review, I probably should. I'm a bit in love with the cute padlock design, it looks so beautifully classy sat on my dressing table. The glass and gold combination is especially pleasing for us bloggers too!

When I first sprayed this I wasn't sure that it would be my kind of scent - my usual perfumes are really sweet and fruity and this is fresh, floral and sophisticated. However, when it settled I was really impressed and I've learnt that in future I need to give perfumes more of a chance before I decide they're not for me! It's the perfect perfume for Spring - subtle, mature and fresh.

The only minor negative I have about this perfume is that I found that the scent lost it's intensity pretty quickly. I did have to top it up a couple of times throughout the day but I do understand this could just be my skin and 'own scent'.

Overall, I love my first ever Chloé perfume - if it takes your fancy, you can purchase the Chloé Love Story from Debenhams here.

Have you tried the Chloé Love Story Perfume? Do you prefer fruity or floral scents?

  1. The photography here is so on point I may just die!!! >.< I also love the review and now want to smell this perfume! ahaha! How lovely to be gifted such a gorgeous perfume bottle!! I'm always a sucker for a cute/quirky/unique perfume bottle...possibly more than the scent inside!! aha!! Oh dear.......great post Fran x x x x

  2. I have been really lazy with scents until this year when I've really made an effort to wear something most days. I used to only wear fragrance for special occasions but because I was wearing them so infrequently, I'd end up forgetting to wear them on special occasions too! This one sounds lovely & the bottle is gorgeous, I'll definitely be smelling it when I'm next near a store. Xx

  3. I've heard a lot about this perfume, especially about the look of it! I've only ever gotten one scent and that's my Lancome perfume so might have to try this out! Smells like something I would love!

  4. I'm a real big fan of all of the Chloe fragrances so I cant wait to get my hands on this one. I do agree about the longevity of the chloe fragrances though they so do fade pretty quick.

  5. I've never actually tried any of the Chloe perfumes but I'm eager to try one!
I'm more of a fruity fragance person, Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf is my all time fave. Anything with a sweet scent has me sold!

  6. This bottle is so cute!?!?! I'm not really one for fragrances (i'm so lazy) but I definitely think I need to start actually wearing them a bit more, especially as this one sounds so nice. THough it not lasting very long kind of defeats the objective aha. It's so pretty looking though!
