I'm really late to the party with Kiehl's skincare, but better late than never, ay! I recently finished my beloved Liz Earle cleanse and polish and was on the hunt for something different just for a little change. I put the feelers out on Twitter and lots of you recommended that I try Kiehl's. I went ahead and purchased Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cleanser and Ultra Facial Toner. I've been using both products daily for roughly 3 weeks and I'm really impressed.
To use the cleanser you just need to splash water on your face and massage in to damp skin. It is quite a thick consistency which I don't usually like but it really feels like it is clearing your face of any dirt and grime. It's amazing for makeup removal- I was so surprised after I used the toner to discover next to no leftover makeup on the cotton pad as the facial cleanser had nearly removed all of it.
The toner is probably my favourite product of the two- the consistency is what I can only describe as 'diluted milk' which sounds awful but it's really not! It's so gentle on your skin and I haven't experienced any of the skin tightening or drying that occurs with some toners.
These products combined leave my skin feeling super clean, soft and nourished which is what you hope for from your skincare routine. I opted for the 75ml bottles just in case I didn't get on with them but I will definitely be repurchasing them full size.
My skin is very happy that I've discovered Kiehl's and after receiving a little sample with this purchase, I now have my eye on the Midnight Recovery Concentrate.
